Now you can receive direct feedback from industry professionals, past CKP graduates. If you already have an Orkut account, join the community at once. For the next 10 days the account is open for public signups because I don’t want to sit and click on 60 applications. But I’m shutting it off soon, so go and sign up now.

If you don’t have an Orkut account, go sign up for one. If you have not used online communities before, I recommend that you DO NOT fill in all your personal details at once. Give it a while so you get used to your visitor profile.

hi george, we had a discussion in class about logos being abstract or realistic. i think it depend on clients as well as the designers. its upto them. ive seen some graphic designers who like their works to be abstract. sometimes it depends on brief as well and usage too.

we had another discussion that two logos looking similar. i just saw a logo on lavelle road, the name of the company is IBC(probably an IT company). it has tried to imitate IBM logo with the same color as well as the bars. the bars are more though. so see u got it, as soon i saw the logo i recalled IBM Logo rather than storing this image of IBC. it basically creates confusion. i feel identity has to be unique.
